The SEAL group is working on spectral element methods for the solution of partial differential equations (PDEs). We are interested in the analysis and development of fast algorithms, particularly for unsteady PDEs in three space dimensions, such as the Navier-Stokes equations. We also use these methods to analyze fluid flow and heat transfer phenomena.
